That is, more outrageously catchy songs whose choruses you find yourself singing along with on first listen, high octane slices of guitar and vein-popping vocals, all topped off with some rather delicious bursts of fiercely determined brass. Songs are instant anthems, pure delight, and have titles such as "Prisoner Abroad", "Damaged" and "Ecstacy" [sic]. The title track's Mod keyboards and funked-out rhythms also remind us that Snuff are the pure Mod/punk crossover, where the James Taylor Quartet meet the Redskins and Minor Threat for a quick pint or 10, and end up the best of pals.
