Intel is making the Core i7-620M on a 32 nm production node using 384 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Core i7-620M, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 35 W, the Core i7-620M consumes only little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR3 memory. For communication with other components in the system, Core i7-620M uses a PCI-Express Gen 2 connection.
