A6-3420M has 1MB of L2 cache and operates at 1500 MHz by default but can boost up to 2.4 GHz depending on the workload. AMD is making the A6-3420M on a 32 nm production node using 1178 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on A6-3420M which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 35 W the A6-3420M consumes only little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with adual-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 6520G integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the A6-3420M which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
