この製品は、米軍の官給品として支給されていたTシャツをイメージソースに、バズリクソンズによってタウンユース用にアレンジされた半袖無地Tシャツです。胴周り部分に縫い目のない丸胴ボディを使用したバズリクソンズオリジナル日本製無地パッケージTシャツで、柔らかなライトウェイトノンウォッシュボディでヴィンテージスタイルを踏襲しつつも、現代的で繊細なシルエットを取り入れ、街着として着易い洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインにアレンジされています。

1枚でメインのTシャツとして着ても、インナーとしても、レイヤードアイテムとしても着用できるようにやや薄手のでソフトな生地が使用されています。新品の状態では糸本来の風合いが残った生地ですが、洗濯で水を通し乾燥させることで目が詰まり、柔らかな風合いながらコシとハリが生まれ、縦方向に若干の縮みが発生します(横方向への縮みは最小限です)。また、着用と洗濯を繰り返すことで、さらに生地が馴染みコットン特有の風合いが生まれてきます。しっかりとした着心地と、しなやかな柔らかさを兼ね備えた生地です。
このTシャツは、「丸編み機」によって編まれたTシャツです。丸編み機は、生地を筒状に編み上げる旧式編み機です。生産効率は低いのですが、低速でゆっくりと編み立られ、糸そのものの柔らかい風合いを生かすことができる希少な編み機です。低速で編まれた生地は、温もりのある味わい深い表情に加え、しっかりとした着心地としなやかな柔らかさを兼ね備えています。そして、丸編み機で編まれたTシャツの最大の特徴が、ボディの脇部に縫い目がない、いわゆる「丸胴」に仕上がる仕様です。現在は量産を重視した高速の編み機が主流になり、丸編み機は時代遅れの技術とされつつあります。しかし、丸編み機で編まれたTシャツには、量産重視の高速編み機では出せない独特の風合いと時代を超えうるタフネスが宿っています。あえて生産効率の低い丸編み機で編むことで、空気を含んで柔らかくも、コシのある強い丸胴生地に編み上がります。また、はぎ目のない服なので、洋服の縫い目が肌に当たらず着心地も良い利点もあります。
ネックリブ(襟周り)は着用を繰り返しても伸びにくい特徴を持つ、耐久性に優れたバインダーネック2本針仕様です。

The Buzz Rickson label, a division of Toyo Enterprise in Japan, is famous around the world for its expertly-crafted authentic military clothing. The pattern construction of this plain T-shirt is modeled after vintage-style loop-wheeling tee shirts, but this item is outfitted with the original details of Buzz Rickson's brand in a contemporary approach with a modernize fit. With the inspiration from government issued military T-shirts (sportswear style with military influences), this solid color T shirt has been re-designed for a more casual look and fashion purpose. This T-shirt is designed to be a slightly lightweight soft cotton and regular fit so that it can be worn as an alone (outerwear T-Shirt) or as a layering (underneath other clothing) or a underwear(undershirt).
